Ed Case knows what it takes in D.C. to revitalize our economy, protect our jobs, and balance our budget.
Ed Case knows that fixing our national economy and stabilizing our federal finances have to be our top national priorities through 2010 and well beyond. Ed believes most everything else flows from these goals: from preserving and increasing our jobs, to providing for ourselves and our families, to helping our businesses, to providing the resources necessary for a fair and affordable government, to handing off our country to our kids in good shape so they can meet the challenges of their own times.
Ed knows what an economy needs to prosper. He's worked in Hawai‘i's private sector for almost thirty years. He's managed a business with hundreds of employees and balanced multimillion dollar budgets. He understands what excessive taxes and unnecessary regulation can do to our economic engine especially in tough times.
Ed also fought for responsible and affordable government budgets in his prior service in both our Hawai‘i Legislature (1994-2002) and our Congress (2002-2007). As a member of the U.S. House Committee on the Budget, he asked the tough questions too few others were willing to face and advocated for a balanced federal budget.
Only one candidate has the knowledge and experience in both our government and private sectors to contribute now in D.C. to real solutions to our most pressing national challenges. We can't afford to wait while these crucial decisions are being made. |
